How can the “laws” of 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles helps us learn more about the Nature of God?
Essential questions are due within 1 week of taking the chapter test. They should be at a minimum of a 10 sentence, 1 paragraph response, but may be longer. Each chapter’s essential questions will assemble your “Electronic EQ” project for each semester and will be worth a project grade at the end of the semester. Each chapter will count toward 16 points of the final 100-point project grade. Responses will receive 16 points for excellent work, 10 points for good work, 5 points for mediocre work, and 0 points for no response. The 45-45-90 degree triangle is like the way God is equal about people. That he lets us as people choose for ourselves. We can choose to accept him or go a different path. The 90 degree shows that God is the all supreme king and that no matter which path we choose to take we have to come before his judgment. The 30-60-90 triangle is a little harder to explain. God is still the superior ruler but the angles are more different. There is the straight and narrow path, 30 degree angle. Then there is also the 60, broader, degree angle. This triangle seem to represent people’s choice between acceptance or denial. Either triangle, God is still accepting all people and we still have to come before him.
ReplyDeleteThese triangles can help us understand some of God’s characteristics. The 45-45-90 triangles and 30-60-90 triangles are very specific. You can always find the sides of them by just plugging in a number for "n". This shows us how awesome God is. He thought out exactly how everything would work before making the earth. He had a plan for how everything would go together and was very detailed in everything he made. His creation is extremely complicated, and yet it is very orderly. God is the greatest designer ever. His careful attention to detail and perfection can tell us a lot about his character. No human mind could ever come up with and engineer everything to work the and be connected the way God did.
ReplyDeleteThese two triangles are special because each side, if the same “n” value is used, will yield their respective equal values. The “n” is the variable and is used to complete each side of the triangle. There are multiple numerical values for “n” and each is necessary to solve its own equation. Humans are the “n”. God will use each person for His glory and He purposed each person to solve some part of this complex equation known as life. When a person allows God to use them, they resolve the part of human nature that seeks to be with God. Now God can and will use that person to help another who is still trying to find their way (The Great Commission). From the triangles, we know that God cares about humans and their problems. He is love and the Bible confirms these attributes of God. He knows our problems because He lived on this earth and knows what temptations this world offers. In the end, he is a mathematician sitting at a table in a bright room solving a problem He already knows how to solve.
ReplyDeleteThe Laws of 45-45-90 and a 30-60-90 triangle state that the ratio of the sides for these particular triangles will always be the same. No matter how long the sides are, if the angles are the same, the ratio will be the same. It never changes. Malachi 3:6a says, “For I am the Lord, I do not change.” Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.” God, like the triangles side length ratios never change. He will always love us as his people and hate the sin we commit. Imagine that God’s love is the angles. Our sin will be represented by the side lengths. The amazing thing about God is that no matter how much we sin, or how BIG our sides…I mean sins get, he will always love us. We can change every day, every hour, every minute, but he will always stay the same. Either way, 45-45-90/30-60-90 triangles reflect our relation with God. No matter how much the sides/sins change, the angles/God’s love will always be the same.
ReplyDeleteLets explain first what the laws of both triangles tell us. The laws for the 45-45-90 triangle are that the sides of both 45 degree angles point to equal 1 and the side for the 90 degree angle equals the square root of 2. The laws for the 30-60-90 triangle are that the 30 degree angle’s side equals 1, the 60 degree angle’s side equals square root of 3 and the 90 degree angle’s side equals 2. Both of these triangles will always follow these rules, no matter what. This means, summing up all the laws, that all 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles will always be the same. So how can this help us understand God better? Well there are no laws(at least I haven’t heard any) that tell us that God will always be the same. Nothing from the government, the scientists or the mathematicians(who came up with these laws). But we have the Bible and the Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.” So this verse tells us the same thing about the triangles, but for Jesus. Just like the triangles, Jesus will never change, no matter what, He will always be the same. So the 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles help us know more about God by showing us that, just like the triangles, God will always be the same. No matter what math question you are struggling with, if you get one of these two triangles the answer will always be the same. No matter what you are struggling with in your life, God will always be there for you; And no matter what he does, he will always be perfect and will never change.
