  1. I agree and disagree with the statement that humans are coterminal. The dictionary definition of being coterminal is to have the same border or cover the same area. Having the same border as someone else is a lot like having the same boundaries or morals. Sometimes, my morals coincide with other people’s morals. But at the same time, I strongly disagree with what other people think and value.
To cover the same area as someone else is kind of like being in the same places, and interacting with each other. Every day, I see people in the same place, and interact with them. Then again, there are billions of people in the world that I have never seen and I will never interact with. As you can see, I both disagree, and agree with the statement “humans are coterminal.”

  2. I believe that a human’s ultimate goal in life is to be coterminal. I believe that humans should continuously strive to be coterminal with God. For example if God is an angle of 225 degrees than humans should strive to be angles of -135 degrees. Of course humans cannot be God but they should strive to become an angle that ends at the same spot as God. Another way to explain it is that God has a purpose for every single human’s life; he wants humans to achieve the greatness (angle) that He has planned out for our lives. So we as humans should live our lives so that we are constantly becoming closer to what God wants for us. Getting to the point of being coterminal with God is not an easy thing. Becoming coterminal with God takes a lot of overcoming calculations, calculations like temptations, struggles, and trials. Many times these things throw humans way off track, onto angles that are no where close to being coterminal with God. If we overcome these things and continue to strive for the greatness God wants for us, I believe that humans can in fact become coterminal.

  3. I wasn't sure what coterminal meant so I got the dictionary definition. Coterminal-have the same border, same area. Then i asked a friend, who said Coterminal means the area the roatation covered as an angle. we humans are coterminal. I agree. Everyone tells us we are unique and that is true but we all live the same basic life. Whether some have better lives and others worst we still have a basic life line. We are connected. Our views of our lives and others may change and are hardly the same but if we take that away we find we have teh same life line. Some are cut short and others are extended. If it was cut short we would still have lived the same basic life line but it was cut short. Fate is a milestone. we may have some incredable happenings in our life but if we took our opinion and personality out of our lives we see that all our lives are the same. Especcially now. We got to school most our childhood hten more school attempt a job or jobs, while growing old then spend the money we earned. After we die. Another friend told me this and we both agree that life is this.So that this is a "normal life" or an average life.well at the present it is.though we have our personalities and fate so it can change our view of it to make is better or worst. The past and future are another thing.in the past we had no school and no money depending on how far we went back. and the future we are not sure what is holds. we can guess but never know. though if you put more though into it you can make our life line even more simplier so that it would match no matter if in the past, present, or future. My finally conclustion is that I agree and disagree with this. Humans are coterminial but also the past, future, and fate can change the composition of coterminal. Not the definition because that stays the same but it could change from the "normal" life I explained.

  4. Humans are not conterminal because they each start and end in different areas. Many of us try to make ourselves like one another, but God created each of us differently. We have different goals and aspirations, many of us may end in the same area but not completely. When our life begins we take different paths and many people stray from the everyday “norm” to be what they want. We can’t be conterminal with each other because our attitudes, thoughts, and actions can not be duplicated. Humans are made to communicate and have relationships but they are based on common interest. But, we are never truly common. Humans are uncommon and unique in their own special ways. We strive to be Christ like but he was a perfect, humans are far from perfect. The bible helps us become Christians but we can never be completely like Jesus. He came to earth and died for all our sins and none of us can do that.

  5. This depends on your point of view. To an atheist person everyone is coterminal. Atheists do not believe in God and also believe that we will all end up in the same place when we die. A religious person believes that humans are not coterminal because some will end up in paradise while others face eternal torment. If we believe in Christ then the notion that humans are coterminal will be false because those who follow Christ will end up in Heaven while those who do not will be sent to Hell. The Bible tells us that God will separate the believers and the non-believers. There is no middle ground; either we believe that humans are coterminal or that they are not. This all goes back to faith, as Christians we should all have faith in God because we accept Jesus Christ as our savior and know that we will be saved. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and in doing so I do not believe that humans are coterminal. However, humans all think differently and have various beliefs, so what I believe in may be completely different than what another person believes in.

  6. Angles are coterminal when they end up in the same place, but that is a two dimensional image and not a human. Humans go through the same place all the time, but that is not an important aspect of how I see it. Coterminality, per say, is when humans are similar to one another in one or more aspects. We can naturally look exactly like another person or have someone try to imitate another’s appearance. It is rare that two people look exactly alike, but it does happen. People also try to look like an iconic being constantly, for example I saw a lot of The Joker costumes from The Dark Knight on Halloween. We also can behave similarly to another or follow in another’s lifestyle. A stereotype for instance is a person with a predictable mindset to another’s. Or someone could just live the way they do and find someone who acts just like they do by total chance. Real human coterminality is rare, but when it happens just enjoy that the chances are so very slim.

  7. I agree and disagree with the statement “Humans are coterminal.”
I agree with the statement because history repeats itself. It repeats because we do not always learn from our mistakes and we make the same mistake again. If we are coterminal and we keep making the same mistakes, then we will never accomplish anything and make our world a better place. Sometimes the angle we are trying to get to seems impossible because we keep ending up in the same place. Also, humans are coterminal because we have a goal and sometimes we reach that goal by trying to go the positive (couter-clock wise) way or the negative(clock wise) way. We might reach our goal by all the hard work, having encouragement and momentum. Or we might reach our goal by taking a few wrong turns but ending up in the same place.
I disagree with the statement because if you look at coterminal as humans repeating the same cycle, then it is like reincarnation. I do not believe in reincarnation. If humans die then they die and do not return in a different form of animal based on how “good” they were on earth. Humans are not coterminal because they do not return in a different form.

  8. I agree, but also disagree with the statement,"Humans are coterminal". I will first discuss the ways in which humans are coterminal. I believe that human's ultimate goal is to become coterminal with God. We have to put forth effort to become close to God, and when we finally put forth sufficient effort, we will become coterminal. The more effort one puts into knowing God, the higher the coterminal angle will be. There seems to be a couple of ways in which humans are not coterminal. Firstly, all humans do not start in the same place like coterminal angles do. I believe that when we first hear of God is where our angle will start. And the starting point is determined by personal history, decisions made, and quality of life. Secondly, not all humans are accepted into God's kingdom, therefore making those people non-coterminal. The main reason for being non-coterminal is of course, not putting any effort into knowing and learning of God. In conclusion, the statement, "Humans are coterminal" is a hopeful statement that is true to christians, but not all humans.
