Ch. 7 EQ Choice #2

e and π both have decimals that never end (at least we think this). Does God know all of the decimals of these numbers if they are never ending?

  1. Infinity is a hard thing to comprehend. We think that both pi and e both have infinite numbers. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around something that literally has no end, something that goes on FOREVER. However, God lives in infinity; his life has no beginning or end, so it is easy for him to perceive something as infinite. God is all knowing, which means he know every place of every number in both pi and e. We are limited to our brain and how much it can store, so we cannot possibly know every number in these numbers. God on the other hand is infinite, which means infinite knowledge, so he is able to store all the numbers and know them instantly.

  2. Yes God knows all the decimals in e and pi. Humans say the numbers are never-ending, but we do not have the power or mentality to know the numbers. We cannot wrap our brains around the thought of God or his power. He knows everything! Even things that happened, happens, and will happen. God is the one who invented numbers. He created e and pi. If he made it, then I am certain that he knows every parts and element of his creation. God is bigger and more powerful than us, so he knows every number in e and pi without conentrating about it. God,himself, is never ending so he can relate to e and pi. Maybe the numbers do end but we do not have the knowledge to find the end. God has the knowledge to make or do anything. He knew the numbers to e and pi before anyone knew the number one. God does know the numbers.

  3. God is alpha and omega, the creator of all things and our father. He has been here since the beginning and knows all. He knows everything we do and everything we think. He had our plan set before us when we were in our mother’s womb. God created everything on earth. He gave people ideas about science, math and writing. The ideas about math lead people to find pi and e. He created these two and knows everything about them. He created all of the decimals and knows where they end. God is mysterious and wants us to continue to find where pi and e end, that’s if they even do end.

  4. God is the creator of all things in this universe. So I am one hundred percent sure that he would know the decimals of the numbers if they are never ending. It is impossible for us humans to wrap our minds around the concept of never ending. It just doesn’t register in our heads that something can be never ending. God knows everything he has ever created so I’m positive he knows ever number in pi and e. It isn’t something that is difficult for him to understand. His mind is so incredibly powerful that he doesn’t even need to think about this question. He knows all of his creations and is aware of the never ending decimals in pi and in e. Maybe we do not know the numbers but God does. Just because are minds do not have the capability to understand that doesn’t mean his doesn’t either.

  5. I believe that God does know all the decimals of both e and π. We as humans see these numbers, and are unable to comprehend them because they are “infinite”. God never began, and will never end; therefore he is able to comprehend these infinite decimals with ease. It is hard for me to grasp the concept of infinite that something will never end, because when the world falls apart where would this person go? Would they just float into space and stay alive..or? It is hard for to think of something that never ends, but it is even harder for me to grasp that God never started, I mean if he never started then who made him, who were his parents, or does he have any family? If God has no beginning, how did he come to be? It seems to me that something must have a start, or a birth for lack of a better word. But, I guess that is why I am a human, and God is God, because he understands everything unlike me or you. But, because God is God he comprehends these so called infinite numbers, just like we have always been told since we were children.( He is all-knowing)

  6. Yes, I believe that God knows all the digits of e and pi. First of all God is the creator of the universe. He is the one that created everything we see around us either by himself or through his people. We can as humans can only count so far and for so long but God who is eternal could have easily found the end of both pi and e if there were any. If there was no end to e or pi then I bet that if we asked God what was the 23424358324845935934834739479274237492734827397 number in pi he would say, “2”. He would know this instantly because after all he is the one who created it. If we had to go into details then the fact that he created math and everything in it should make clear that he knows everything there is to know about math. This includes pi, e and things that humans have not even discovered yet. God is all knowing and if he knows everything that goes on in our world then he definitely knows pi and e. So yes I believe that God knows all the digits of e and pi, but to be sure when I am in Heaven I will personally ask him!

  7. Everything in this world is only possible through God. Math is only possible through God. God is the creator of math. He created every single number, every single equation, every single logarithmic property, etc. So in God creating math, He also created both e and pi. Since God is the creator of e and pi of course he would know all the decimals of these numbers. As humans we can’t comprehend the idea of never ending, but God is all powerful and all knowing so he can comprehend this. In being able to comprehend this idea this means that He knows every single decimal of e and pi even though they are said to be never ending. Many things in math are hard to comprehend by our normal human brains, but since God is the creator of math, of course he would understand and know everything there has to do with math. God in creating math as well as these numbers and being the amazing, all powerful God he is would of course know every decimal for the numbers e and pi.

  8. Well God created everything in this world. He didn’t come to earth and create these two numbers that seem to us to be never ending. But He create the minds of the people that came up/found out about these two numbers. So I am pretty sure that a creation can never be smarter or create something smarter than its creator, meaning that God definitely knows all the decimals of these numbers since they were creations from His creations. On top of that, He knows everything from beginning to end(whenever the beginning was to eternity in heaven) and we cannot comprehend that so easily. The thought of eternity and infinity are kind of weird to us. Since all were are used to is a beginning and an end to things. So since He knows everything, He definitely knows all the decimals for pi and e and if for some reason they are never ending, we could ask God to recite the numbers for us(when we are in heaven) and He will be able to do so, its just that He will never stop saying the numbers since its never ending. So He knows all the decimals, its just that we would be listening for eternity if we wanted to hear Him to show us.
